How We Do it

We believe that one of most important aspects of the design process is listening. We take interest in understanding your business and your customers. Every design concept begins with a thorough discussion about the details of your project from aesthetics to functionality. We then develop a design solution that is just right for you.

The task of creating a website or starting a project can seem complicated and overwhelming. Our goal is to make it easier on you and provide you with high quality creative design services in a courteous and timely manner. We take a personal interest in all our clients and give them the service, value and attention we seek in our own relationships. At any point in this process, we will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Website Design

When it comes to the Internet, you don't get a second chance to make a good first impression. Visitors will judge your business by your website. A website is one of today's most popular and most effective means of advertising (available 24 hours - 7 days a week). This is why our goal is to design professional websites that not only look great but that are easy to use and navigate.

We design and develop websites using XHTML, HTML5, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and Flash. We follow online accessibility standards, ensuring that the site is web compliant, clean and search engine friendly (organic SEO). Google Analytics^® code will be applied at no extra charge. Additional services include online static & interactive ads, blogs, social media integration, email communications, newsletter campaigns, photography, photo editing and retouching.

Preliminary Considerations

Think about a domain name for your website.
What information would you like to include?
What mood/feeling would you like to convey and do you have any color preferences?
Do you have a budget for this project?
Do you plan to link to any social media and/or business listings like Facebook^®, Google Places^®, etc.?
It is essential to look at other websites, take notes about what you like and dislike about them.

Project Assets - It is IMPORTANT that all photos, logos, or other graphics be in their original format or as .jpg or .gif files. Written content should be submitted as a Word (.doc) or text (.txt) file.

Step 1 - Getting Started

Please download and fill out our Website Questionnaire. Gather all images, logos, text files, etc. that you may want to use for your website and send them to us electronically. The more information you are able share with us, the better it is for us to understand your needs.

Step 2 - Initial Design Consultation

We will contact you to set up an initial meeting to review your content and determine your design needs. We will go over the Website Questionnaire and consult with you about your goals, preferences, budget, or any other pertinent information with regard to your new website.

Step 3 - Design Proposal & Deposit

After the initial consultation, we will prepare and provide you with a Design Proposal/Contract for your review and approval. A deposit of fifty-percent of the estimated total cost of the website is required to begin your project.

Step 4 - Design Prototype

Based on research and the preferences you've communicated, we will explore various means of incorporating the desired identity into both the structural and the aesthetic design of the website. We will develop ONE comprehensive website design layout and present to you.

After your feedback, we will make all the necessary revisions and send you a final draft for approval.

Step 5 - Final Website Design

Once you have approved of the final design and provided all final content, work on the website as a whole will begin. We will layout and program all the web pages. We will then test the website on the most popular web browsers. At the end of this phase, we will provide you with links so you may preview the functioning website and provide us with any final revisions before the site goes live. At this point, the remaining balance and any outstanding fees are due.

Step 6 - Website Launch & Final Payment

Once all the pages of the website have been proofread, approved and final payment received, the entire website files will be uploaded to your server. Your website will "Go Live".

We offer several website maintenance options, ranging from the occasional change to continuous weekly updates. We would be happy to discuss these packages with you.

Print Design

We work closely with all of our clients to provide the most effective print design solutions for your business; everything you need from postcards, brochures, catalogs, newspaper ads, sales materials, invitations, letterhead, business cards, etc. Additional services include photography, photo editing / retouching, digital and 3D illustration.

A professionally designed business card, brochure or any other printed piece is important because it places your business in the hands of your customers. It visually communicates the brand, value and benefits your company has to offer. We will advise and work with you to determine what solution will best fit for your needs and budget.

In addition, we will review your branding standards and your website to make sure our design is consistent. We will develop ONE comprehensive design layout and present to you.

After your feedback, we will make all the necessary revisions and provide you with a final draft for approval.

Step 5 - Final Design

Again, after your review, we will make the required changes (if any) and provide you with the Final Design for your approval. It is important to thoroughly proofread for any errors. At this point, the remaining balance and any outstanding fees are due.

Step 6 - Printing & Final Payment

Once your final print design has been proofread, approved, and final payment received, we will deliver your project files to the printer and it is off to the press!

We work closely with a select group of printers to assure quality and value. You may elect to pay the printer directly for all printing fees.
